The Pour 2025 - A Night To Remember!

Last night, Five Points Pub was buzzing as we hosted the finals of The Pour: The Best Guinness Pour in Central NY, presented by the AOH John C. Devereux Division 1.


Behind the taps stood some of the area’s finest hydration specialists, hailing from Celtic Harp, Jill’s Hotel Willowvale, Black River Ale House, The Famous 727 Venice Pizzeria, Knuckleheads Brewhouse, and of course, our very own Five Points crew. They battled it out pint for pint in three rounds—The Perfect Pint, the Perfect Half & Half, and the Shamrock pour.


The competition was fierce, and when the foam settled, it came down to two of our own—Jessica Kingsley and Carter Klumbach—locked in a dead heat for the crown. A dramatic pour-off had the crowd roaring, and in the end, the judges declared Jessica Kingsley the 2025 Perfect Guinness Pour Champion!


👏 Huge congrats to Jessica, Carter, and all of the bartenders who represented their pubs with pride and skill.


But here’s the real beauty of the night: the event raised funds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Utica Chapter, a charity making sure no child in our community has to sleep on the floor. With the support of our guests, the raffle donors, the Ladies & Men of the AOH, our celebrity judges, and our incredible staff, the proceeds will help bring beds, comfort, and dignity to kids right here in Central New York.
